Allison Orzechowski

After taking Les Mills classes for four years and loving it, I had a chance to become an instructor myself when we brought in RPM in 2004. Just from that 2-day training I was hooked and soon became certified in BodyPump in 2005, BodyVive in 2008 and BodyFlow in 2009. When I’m not teaching at the Sweatshop or driving my two teenage daughters to their sporting events, I enjoy outdoor cycling, spending time at my family’s house at the lake kayaking, swimming, and paddle boarding. I also have a small obsession with gardening!

I joined a gym called Positive Steps in 2004 and was encouraged to become an instructor. I took the leap and went through BODYSTEP training and found that there’s no rush like teaching group fitness. That same passion has pushed me to continuously improve and now, to own a gym. I believe that fitness is something that should be FUN. It’s my goal to turn every workout into a party and make everyone feel as though they’re part of The Sweatshop Family. When I’m not at The Sweatshop I can be found chasing my kids and animals around, gardening, cooking or lounging at Winnipesaukee.

On a normal day – who am I kidding… nothing about me should even contain the word ‘normal’ – you will find me chasing my kids around while trying to multitask a million different jobs.  Sounds stressful, right?  It is, but you will also see me laughing and making it as much fun as I can, because I think that everything should be fun… otherwise it becomes work.  This is especially true for fitness!  I got started on my journey thanks to a Group Fitness Manager who saw something in me and asked me to train to teach BODYPUMP.  I wasn’t in very good shape at the time and was apprehensive, but her energy and belief that I could do it gave me the confidence to try and put me on the road to fitness.  That’s what I try to do now for others – be their spark – be the energy to help motivate people to get to class, push themselves, and break through limits and achieve more than they thought they ever could.

Mariah Blain

You will probably hear me before you see me, as I am known for my high energy, spunky, loud “let’s do it” attitude. I came to fitness later in life, falling in love with it long after college. It helped me redefine how I saw myself, getting through the ups and downs of weight loss and busting through the limits I thought my body had. Exercise can be a challenge in everyday life if we do not recognize the power it provides us with and embrace it. Unity between the mind and body opens the doors to a life of increased happiness and success. With a strong mind and body, we are able to work harder, play longer and love deeper. My goal is to help others push their limits and reach for what they think is unreachable: run a race, climb a mountain, do pushups, complete a triathlon. Fitness has become a huge part of my life and a deep passion. I love sharing that amazing feeling of accomplishment with others and helping them reach fitness goals. You will see me either spending time with my wonderful family, running, cycling, or taking classes.
