By now most of you have heard of the TRX Suspension Trainer (if not check out a great video HERE) but have you heard of the RIP Trainer? Don’t let the name fool you, it’s not going to kill you. What it will do is give you killer results.
The RIP trainer employs an innovative resistance cord system to create a variable, unbalanced load that enables you to develop core strength, explosive power, flexibility and endurance. By attaching the resistance cord to an anchor and walking away from it, your body and the cord are creating an asymmetrical pull. The RIP is going to try to pull you in all kinds of directions, but you need to use your core the entire time to resist that pull. Everything we do in life is either creating or resisting rotation – so you can understand why the RIP trainer is an amazing functional training tool!
